The Kenner Loop Returns to Jefferson Parish Transit!

September 6, 2024

Effective Monday, September 22, 2024, Jefferson Parish Transit is taking over the RTA 201 Kenner Loop. Riders will notice new buses and bus stop signage. Service will not be interrupted. The route and schedule will remain the same, with the exception of one additional bus stop.

The new Jefferson Parish Transit E201 Kenner Loop will will detour from the Treasure Chest Casino to the Social Security Office (1616 Joe Yenni Blvd.)

  • Juneteenth (Observed):  Friday, 6/19/2026 no change in service
  • Independence Day:     Friday, 7/3/26 (Observed)
  • Labor Day:                       Monday, 9/7/26
  • Thanksgiving Day:       Thursday, 11/26/26
  • Christmas:                       Friday, 12/25/26

A separate schedule will be announced and used during carnival season (week preceding Mardi Gras day).

Routes without Saturday service do not operate on holidays.
