Effective immediately, due to underground pipes being laid on Daniel Street, near the railroad crossing, the E201 Kenner Loop bus is on a temporary detour with one (1) missed stop.

E1 Veterans-Airport

E1 Outbound Service Stop Temporarily Discontinued
Until further notice, due to construction work on Veterans Blvd, the E1-Veterans, outbound service stop ID#11053, on Veterans at Idaho has been temporarily discontinued. Passengers may board the bus at Veterans and Indiana, stop ID #11060 by Chick-fil-A.

JP Transit DBE Virtual Open House – Join live September 13, 2022 at 12:00 p.m.

As required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Jefferson Parish Dept. of Transit Administration has proposed a DBE Participation Goal of 7% for anticipated FTA-funded projects for FTA Fiscal Years 2023-2025. Interested stakeholders and members of the public are invited to discuss the proposed FY2023-2025 DBE Participation Goal and methodology. 

JP Transit will host a virtual open house on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at noon. Attendees can join the virtual open house (via Microsoft® Teams) by clicking here when the meeting begins.

Public comments are accepted until September 14, 2022 at the Transit Office and via email at transit@solutient.com.

  • July 4th
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas

 

A separate schedule will be announced and used during carnival season (week preceding Mardi Gras day).

Routes without Saturday service do not operate on holidays.
