Metairie Road Lyft Pilot Program
Pilot beginning Monday, September 16, 2019
On September 16, 2019, a new transit service replaced JP Transit’s E4 Metairie Road bus.
This service is offered Monday – Friday, 6AM-7PM. All trips must start and end in the pink area on the map below. The service is free of charge for riders transferring at the Canal Blvd. Terminal and the Airline-Severn bus stop. All other rides will only cost the rider the base JP Transit fare of $1.50.

How to use the Metairie Road Lyft service:
On your smartphone:

In the “Promos” section of the Lyft app, enter promotional codes: MoveMet and Jet2Met

When traveling to/from a home, know the exact address.
For riders without a smartphone:

ADA Accessibility:
A dial-in service is available at (504) 367-RIDE or (504) 367-7433 to request a pick-up in a fully ADA accessible vehicle.
