JEFFERSON PARISH CLOSED MONDAY, MAY 29, 2023 IN OBSERVANCE OF MEMORIAL DAY
Garbage collection and curbside recycling to take place as scheduled
JEFFERSON, LA – All Jefferson Parish Government offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2023 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
LIBRARIES AND JPAWS:
All Jefferson Parish libraries and the Jefferson Parish Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS), will be closed on Monday, May 29 and will reopen to the public on Tuesday, May 30.
GARBAGE AND RECYCLING:
Garbage collection and curbside recycling will take place as scheduled. For additional information regarding collection, please contact the Department of Environmental Affairs at 504-731-4612.
JPRD:
The Johnny Jacob’s Pool will be open for swim lessons only on Monday, May 29, 2023 and will reopen to the public on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. All other Jefferson Parish Parks & Recreation (JPRD) classes and programs (not including Lafreniere Park and Parc des Familles) will be closed on Monday, May 29 and will resume on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. TRANSIT:

JEFFERSON PARISH AMERICAN JOB CENTERS:
