Garbage collection and curbside recycling to take place as scheduled
In following the State of Louisiana, all Jefferson Parish Government offices will be closed on Friday, June 16, 2023 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
LIBRARIES AND JPAWS:
All Jefferson Parish libraries and the Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS), will be closed on Friday, June 16 and will reopen to the public on Monday, June 19.
GARBAGE AND RECYCLING:
Garbage collection and curbside recycling will take place as scheduled. For additional information regarding collection, please contact the Department of Environmental Affairs at 504-731-4612.
JPRD:
The Johnny Jacob’s Pool will be open for swimming lessons only on Friday, June 16, 2023 and will reopen to the public on Saturday, June 17 at 10:00 a.m. CLICK HERE for more information. All Jefferson Parish Parks & Recreation (JPRD) classes and programs (not including Lafreniere Park and Parc des Familles) will be closed on Friday, June 16 and will resume on Saturday, June 17, 2023. TRANSIT:

JEFFERSON PARISH AMERICAN JOB CENTERS:
